Swedish Death Metallers LIK Sign With METAL BLADE RECORDS

Swedish death metallers LIK ("corpse" in Swedish) have inked a deal with Metal Blade. The band's new album will be released in May.

LIK comments: "The huge impact Metal Blade has had on the scene is something you can't overlook, and being a part of this family is a 'pinch yourself to see if you're dreaming' scenario! We can't stress enough about how psyched we are, and it's just another sign that no-frills death metal is still alive and breathing!"

LIK consists of:

* Christofer Barkensjö (WITCHERY, CONSTRUCDEAD, FACE DOWN, KAAMOS, THE RESISTANCE, CARNAL FORGE, GRAVE, NIGHTRAGE) - Drums, Vocals
* Niklas Sandin (KATATONIA, AMARAN, LIFE ECLIPSE, SIEBENBÜRGEN) - Guitar
* Tomas Åkvik (NALE, CHAOSYS, KATATONIA, THE RESISTANCE) - Vocals, Guitar
